Michael Greiner has rekindled an old passion from years gone by after picking up a digital camera and realizing what a wonderful, creative tool it is. In a past life he was active in the local camera club and spent countless hours in the darkroom trying to master black & white prints. Demands of the work-day world and raising children put photography on the back burner for nearly twenty years. A life-long nature lover with a passion for the Whitetail Deer he was again driven to document the natural world found in the northwest Iowa Loess Hills and the Missouri River bottoms where Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota converge. Only an enthusiast perhaps but he felt it was time to share his art, his works and his experiences in the natural world. Once again active in the local camera club his quest to bring photography to an art form is shared by many great photographers on the same creative journey.
Please note. All wildlife in my photography including whitetail deer are wild and totally free roaming.
